The nose offers juicy and ripe fresh fruits, even a bit sweet (crushed morello cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, the tangy side of blueberry and blackcurrant), a refreshing menthol side (peppermint, a very subtle touch of eucalyptus), associated with gourmet chocolate notes – mint chocolate, hint of cocoa), sweet spices (liquorice, fresh vanilla in the background, hint of white pepper, even Timut pepper with bitterness and tanginess of grapefruit), a touch of peony and violet in the background. The palate is fruity, juicy and expresses the flavors of strawberry, morello cherry, crushed raspberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by a menthol hint (wild mint, pine needles), a toasted touch of hazelnut and fresh wood with sap and flowers in the background (violet, wild rose). Tannins are tight, a little catchy, with a good bitterness of bird cherry. The finish is persistent, juicy, tangy, a salivating acidity balances the slightly drying tannins. A well-structured and firm wine, but with a beautiful ripe fruitiness.
