The nose is elegant and offers richness, freshness, a certain strength / power but all in control / delicacy. There are notes of creamy blackberry, crushed blueberry and more slightly crushed strawberry associated with touches of ripe cassis, chocolate, star anise, fine hints of nutmeg, lily, toast as well as a discreet almost tonka bean tip and an imperceptible hint of Madagascar pepper. The palate is fresh, juicy, balanced, mineral and offers a nice fat, a nice definition, tension, a tangy frame, a certain richness (in balance), energy as well as delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / fleshy blackberry, ripe / fresh cassis and more slightly fresh raspberry associated with touches of fresh / juicy plum, hints of chocolate, toasted hazelnut as well as fine tips nutmeg, star anise, fresh saffron (in its flowery side) and a discreet almost caramelized hint. A nice work on the bitters especially at the end of the mouth. Good length and good persistence A nice little bite at the end of the palate / persistence.
