The nose is fresh, precise, frank and offers concentration as well as a certain power. We find notes of fresh lily, violet and small notes of blackcurrant associated with touches of small fresh wild black fruits, hints of pepper, small crunchy fruits, sap, fresh tobacco as well as a fine hint of fresh spices and limestone/terroir. The palate offers a lovely freshness, minerality, juiciness, good definition, a certain tension, accuracy as well as an acidulous/mineral structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, bright raspberry and small notes of bright blackcurrant associated with touches of small fresh berries as well as hints of fresh lily, bergamot, tonka bean, coffee, fresh almond, with a subtle hint of black tea and almost sage / warm Mediterranean barrier. The tannins are elegant, racy and already relatively polished. Good length and persistence.
