The nose is elegant, slightly tight and offers a small power as well as a fine richness. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of violet, Cuben pepper, strawberry associated with fine touches of nutmeg, liquorice and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers a racy minerality, elegance, a good structure as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of small juicy red fruits associated with fine touches of juicy plum as well as very slight hints of flowers (violet, iris), toasted, tonka bean/cocoa, cardamom and a subtle hint of spices (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
