The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration as well as a slight power. It reveals notes of blackberry and wild raspberry combined with small / fine touches of crushed redcurrants. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight acid frame as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and fleshy cassis associated with small notes of fleshy redcurrants as well as small touches of raspberry and chocolate. Tannins are a bit chewy. Good length. There are hints of powdered chocolate and dried almond on persistence.
