The nose is quite elegant and fine. It reveals notes of ripe fruit and mushroom associated with earthy touches and touches of Sichuan pepper. The mouth is fat, balanced, suave and offers some minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of red fruit and slight notes of blackberry associated with a few notes of mushroom, touches of wood as well as touches of Ceylon tea and slight toasted notes on the finish. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and persistence.
