On the nose, fresh, fruity and offers some power, fine crispness and intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy wild blackberry, wild cassis and more lightly violet associated with touches of pepper, licorice and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, fruity, discreetly tight and offers juiciness, good definition, a certain contained richness, smoothness, a certain minerality, tension as well as concentration (in control). The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and more slightly pulpy/juicy blackcurrant associated with touches of fresh plum, zan, toastiness, a discreet hint of nutmeg, hazelnut. A little chewiness and sapidity on the finish/persistence.
