On the nose, fruity, offering slight intensity, power and fine grain. It reveals the notes of bright boysenberry, cassis and more lightly fleshy/fresh raspberry associated with small blue fruits as well as fine hints of vanilla, discreet hints of camphor and pepper. On the mouth it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition as well as a certain gourmandize, a tangy frame, a certain tension and finesse. The wine express the notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis and fresh blueberry combined with hints of fresh raspberry as well as hints of lilac, nutmeg, sense of place (local dry forest floor) and fine hints of chocolate (in the background). Good length. The tannins are precise and well conducted. A subtle hint of hazelnut on the finish.
