On the nose it is fruity and offers a little calcareous power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fresh strawberry, cassis and more slightly fresh blackberry associated with fine touches of racy minerality as well as a discreet hint of spices and a subtle hint of toast. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, straightforwardness, roundness as well as a stretched side. The wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, crushed blackberry and more slightly pulpy cassis associated with tonka bean, toast as well as a subtle hint of cardamom. The tannins are racy, precise and relatively supple.
