Clos du Milieu 2020 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and offers a certain brightness and attractive fruit. There are notes of creamy blackcurrant, creamy strawberry and more slightly crushed redcurrant combined with hints of graphite, tonka bean, fine almost toasted/caramelised notes and a subtle hint of clove and vanilla. The palate is juicy, flattering, gourmet and offers a nice finesse in its fatness, gourmandise and a certain purity of fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackcurrant, plump/juicy plum and more slightly crushed raspberry combined with a touch of blueberry, vanilla, toastiness and a hint of chocolate.
