Clos du Clocher 2019 – Pomerol

The nose is aromatic and offers a small intensity, a fine power and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of small pulpy/juicy black berries, wild blackberry, small notes of lily associated with hints of tonka bean, liquorice and a discreet hint of cuben pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, roundness as well as a fine acidulous frame, a fine tension, precision and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of small blue fruits associated with small touches of cornflower, camphor, sugared mild tobacco and discreet hints of almond/sweet spices. A persistence on notes of cocoa.
