Clos du Clocher 2010 – Pomerol

Clos du Clocher 2010 – Pomerol

Beautiful, elegant, velvety, aromatic, precise and complex nose that offers an elegant darkness. Beautifully perfumed. We find notes of Cubeb pepper, sage, ripe fruits, Sichuan pepper and small notes of elegant black berries associated with hints of infusion, star anise and saline gravels/iodine. The palate is beautifully built, supple, elegant, ample and offers delicacy in its power, delicacy, a beautiful texture as well as silkiness. Full of control and precision. A beautiful powerful structure but well-controlled. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright wild cassis, bright blackberry and small notes of camphor associated with touches of black pepper, toasted, an almost balsamic hint, sage, a subtle hint of plum blossom, warm thyme as well as a discreet hint of blond tobacco, smoke and cardamom. Tannins are mellow. Power, roundness, velvety and precise
