The nose is beautifully charming, warm, intense and offers a melodious side as well as complexity. It reveals notes of blueberry, blond tobacco and small notes of concentrated small blue fruits associated with touches of gray pepper as well as hints of camphor and a hint of bergamot. The palate is beautifully textured, delicate, silky, airy, subtle, beautifully charming, full of elegance (and nobility) and offers a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, quite ripe wild blueberry and small notes of small black fruits, camphor associated with touches of tobacco, tobacco box as well as an almost aniseed, almost animal, hint of spices and a subtle almost mandarin hint (in the background). Tannins are mellow, fresh and sapid. Good length. Beautiful chewiness and beautiful persistence.
