The nose is rather aromatic and offers a fine grain, power and a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, blackberry, small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with touches of grey pepper, a racy minerality and a subtle hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine suavity, a mineral frame, a fine tension as well as a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh/juicy cassis, small notes of fresh violet associated with touches of racy minerality, rose petal as well as a subtle hint of fresh cherry, fresh mild tobacco and a subtle hint of cardamom (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
