The nose is fresh. It reveals notes of fresh cassis, fresh violet, small notes of small fresh/fleshy red berries associated with touches of racy minerality/terroir as well as discreet hints of sweet spices and a very discreet varietal hint (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, a certain freshness as well as a fine acidulous frame and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, blackberry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of lily/fresh violet, sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of tonka bean/cocoa and crushed almond.
