The nose is aromatic, fine, relatively juicy and finely powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with fine notes of black cherry, small red berries, bell pepper as well as hints of flowers, mocha, spice and oak. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, relatively fat, relatively gourmand and offers freshness, complexity, an acid frame, juiciness as well as a nice silky, suave and voluminous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe juicy, fresh red fruit and fine notes of plum, cassis associated with small touches of mocha, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization, licorice and spices. Tannins are fine, well buil, elegant and slightly firm. Good length and persistence.
