The nose is aromatic, precise and offers a beautiful fine grain, precise, spicy and elegant. A velvety and airy texture. We find notes of bright redcurrants, wild small fruits, lilies and small notes of wild red berries associated with a touch of fresh thyme, nutmeg and discreet hints of schist. The palate is fruity, nicely built and offers juiciness, suavity, shinesse as well as brilliance and pulpiness in its fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of roasted-juicy cherry, bright blueberry and small notes of crushed small red fruits associated with touches of liquorice stick, cornflower, arbutus fruit, toasted hints as well as a fine hint of black tea and rosemary. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A subtle hint of eucalyptus/sap in the background on the finish/persistence.
