The nose is fruity, spicy and frank. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, blackberry liqueur and small notes of roasted red fruits associated with touches of liquorice stick, iris, black olive as well as fine hints of Madagascar pepper and a hint of balsamic. A very discreet almost olive leaf hint in the background. The palate is beautifully fresh, mineral, juicy, elegant and offers brilliance, a beautiful airy side, race as well as a nice deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis liqueur, concentrated wild blackberry and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of liquorice stick, tobacco, strawberry tree as well as hints of black olive, olive tree and a hint of chocolate. Tannins are sapid, sappy and well-built. Good length. A beautifully textured and elegant wine.
