The nose is fruity and offers harmony, good definition and a certain power. There are notes of bigarreau cherry/cherry, crushed strawberry and more slightly violet, combined with almost roasted notes, fine hints of star anise and an imperceptible hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity and reveals freshness, good definition, minerality, a fresh/acidic backbone, mellowness, accuracy, tension and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy strawberry, fleshy/crushed cherry and, more slightly, pulpy violet plum, combined with a touch of blackberry, discreet hints of caramelisation and a subtle hint of chocolate. The tannins are sapid and supple.
