The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers deepness, a beautiful finesse of the grain, intensity and a small finely tight power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild cassis, small notes of lily/violet, small wild berries associated with fine touches of small juicy/crunchy red fruits as well as a subtle hint of iris, zan, fresh mild tobacco, a very discreet hint of mocha and cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, powerful (but full of delicacy) and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, gourmandize, roundness, a good definition, tension, elegance as well as suavity, sapidity and a finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy wild cassis, juicy/pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of small juicy/crunchy wild red fruits associated with small touches of iris/lily, nutmeg, racy minerality/terroir as well as very discreet hints of cardamom, mocha and an imperceptible hint of black pepper/ Good length. Tannins are well-built. Good persistence on very fine hints of zan, small crushed violet plum and sweet spices.
