The notes is elegant and offers power, a fine grain, intensity and a certain density/deepness. It reveals notes of cassis, small black fruits, small notes of violet associated with touches of incense, lily as well as hints of small crunchy blue berries, fine hints of iris, grey pepper and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension, a beautiful suavity, dynamism, deepness, a beautiful acidulous frame and an aromatic purity of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright blueberry, small notes of juicy Boysen berry associated with small touches of fresh lily, iris, nutmeg, fine hints of chocolate/cocoa and a discreet hint of toasted, fresh mild tobacco and sweet spices. Good length. Appetence, gourmandize and a very fine chew on the finish/persistence.
