The nose is elegant, racy, fine and delicate. It reveals notes of fleshy/ripe blackberry, fleshy/juicy strawberry and small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of violet, caramelization, chocolate as well as fine hints of graphite, star anise and discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, suavity/fat as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy Boysen berry and small notes of red fruits associated with hints of cornflower, liquorice, toasted and very discreet hints of cardamom/graphite. Tannins are elegant and very fine. Good length.
