The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers intensity with finesse. The wine wins if it is decanted. There are notes of fairly ripe blackberry, cornflowers and more slightly toasted associated with touches of undergrowth, camphor as well as discreet hints of pepper, tea, nutmeg and a subtle hint of truffle. (background). The palate is fruity, balanced, finely tight and offers minerality, a very nice freshness, tension, juiciness, a certain airy side as well as a nice texture in the mouth. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, violet and more slightly of fairly ripe small red fruits associated with touches of tobacco, undergrowth, toast, toasted hazelnut as well as fine hints of truffle and with a subtle (and delicate) hint of vanilla. Tannins are precise, elegant and suave. Good length.
