The nose is elegant, racy and offers a small intensity, a small concentration, deepness as well as a very finely tight beautiful grain. It reveals notes of wild cassis, dry blackberry, small notes of dry strawberry associated with fine touches of mushroom, nutmeg, cardamom, a hint of humus as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate, tobacco (in the background) and violet/dry cornflower. The palate is fruity, racy, elegant and offers minerality, a beautiful acidulous frame, a small density, a certain concentration, a small controlled power as well as a fine tight side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild cassis, crushed blueberry, small notes of quite ripe wild strawberry associated with small touches of lily, violet as well as fine hints of tonka bean, liquorice, toasted, very fine hints of green cardamom, cloves, a subtle hint of toasted/caramelized hazelnut and discreet hints of mushroom/humus. Good length. Tannins are well-built and elegant.
