The wine has a ruby color with purplish reflections. The nose is gourmand, fresh and fruity. It expresses notes of strawberry, crushed raspberry, tart red cherry, red currant, with a touch of crushed blackcurrant and blackcurrant leaf in the background, combined with a touch of rose petals. The palate is juicy, round and offers expressive fruity flavors (strawberry, crushed raspberry, fresh bigarreau cherry and jam, a touch of blueberry), associated with a touch of pepper, cloves (or cocoa in the background) and notes of hay and dried wildflowers. The tannins are fine, a little grippy, but enveloped. The finish is a little firm, but gourmand, and juicy, with fresh acidity and good length.
