The nose is spicy and offers a slight smoky touch, harmony and a fine incisive side. It reveals notes of boysenberry, sweet pepper and small notes of spices associated with touches of racy minerality as well as fine hints of cornflowers, minerality and star anise. A very discreet almost sappy hint in the background. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh, mineral and offers a tangy frame, mellowness and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, bright blueberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy wild red berries associated with touches of graphene, tobacco, toast and a hint of nutmeg. Tannins are sapid and supple. Freshness and delicacy. A beautiful small chew on the finish.
