The nose is fruity with a fine spiciness accompanied by notes of mocha and tonka bean. There are also notes of violet, blackberry and small notes of fairly ripe small wild berries associated with slight touches of fresh tobacco, kirsch cherries as well as hints of liquorice stick and cardamom. The palate is fruity with minerality and juiciness. The tangy frame brings a certain brightness. There is good work on the bitters and a slight noble varietal hint. We find notes of blackberries, cherries in kirsch and small notes of quite ripe red berries associated with touches of violet, fresh lily as well as hints of liquorice sticks and a discreet note of fresh tobacco and nutmeg.
