The nose is aromatic and offers a fine intensity/power as well as a very fine richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe strawberry and small notes of small blue fruits associated with a hint of crushed redcurrant as well as fine hints of camphor, cardamom, cloves and very fine hints of caramelization (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, a good definition as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of wild red berries associated with fine touches of fresh cornflower, iris, crunchy strawberry as well as fine hints of sweet spices, nutmeg and cloves.
