The nose is aromatic and offers freshness, gourmandize as well as a certain richness and a very fine austery side. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild black fruits, small notes of black plum associated with touches of cornflowery, lily, fresh nugmeg as well as hints of vanilla, sugared mild tobacco, a hint of exotic spices and vanilla pod. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a small acidulous frame, freshness as well as dynamism, energy, a fine straightness, a good balance between freshness and richness, a fine creaminess and a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ripe cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of toasted/caramelizarion associated with touches of pulpy/juicy raspberry, crushed blueberry as well as hints of vanilla, chocolate, a subtle hint of sugared mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of hazelnut. Tannins are very finely chewy.
