Clos de Boüard 2024 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose is elegant, airy, spicy and offers a certain delicacy in the intensity of its grain, accuracy and a lovely airy side. It reveals notes of juicy/fresh strawberry charlotte, violet and small notes of small juicy/ripe fruits, associated with fine touches of ripe cassis, as well as fine hints of lilac, clove, bergamot and red pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy and suave. It offers freshness, good definition, a certain rightness, minerality and a fine tangy/iodized frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, violet plum and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of juicy/pulpy red cherry, as well as hints of lilac, bergamot, a subtle hint of almost sage and discreet hints of fresh spices. Good length. A wine offering a certain accuracy, a chiselled side, freshness, juiciness, a discreet varietal hint in the background and a sappy character.
