The nose is fruity and offers creaminess, a certain controlled richness, intensity, accuracy and a nice definition. There are notes of crunchy boysenberry, crushed black berries and more slightly Sichuan pepper combined with hints of crushed strawberry, almost roasted berries as well as hints of lilac, star anise, a fine iodine/saltiness and a subtle hint of tea. The palate is fruity, balanced, elegant and offers freshness, airiness, volume, some creaminess, salinity, a fresh/acidic structure, energy, dynamism and a nice sweetness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and more slightly bright blue berry notes with hints of crushed wild strawberry, pepper, blueberry, lily and fine vanilla. Soft tannins. Good length. Delicious!
