The nose is fruity, spicy and offers concentration. The wine wins if it is decanted. It reveals notes of luscious / fleshy strawberry, bright Boysenberry and more lightly violet, bright Bigarreau cherry as well as hints of pepper, crushed currants and tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a nice freshness, a certain sparkle, gourmandize, a little content as well as unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, bright cherry and more slightly fleshy / pulpy raspberry associated with touches of tobacco, sage, arbutus as well as fine hints of sweet blond tobacco and an imperceptible hint of vanilla.
