On the nose finely tight/spicy/peppery with certain power. It reveals the notes of wild blackberry, wild strawberry and more lightly grey pepper associated with touches of spice, violet, lilac as well as fine points of incense, toast and chocolate. On the mouth it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, gourmandize as well as a little fat, some tension, roundness and a nice juicy/fresh fruit. The wine express the notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cherry and more slightly violet associated with touches of grey pepper, lilac, juicy/fresh small fruits as well as hints of licorice, chocolate, a subtle hint of light tobacco, almond, a very discreet varietal hint (in the background) and cocoa bitterness. The tannins are discreetly tight.
