The wine has a deep ruby color with purple hints. On the first nose, the wine expresses herbaceous aromas of eucalyptus, liquorice, peppermint, thyme and bay leaf, which are then complemented by juicy notes of black plum, Morello cherry, blackberry, red cherry and strawberry with a light touch of prune in the background. On the palate, the wine has the typicity of a young tannat. It has a very strong structure: high acidity and very powerful, slightly bitter tannins that dry out the palate. But at the same time, the wine is rich in the mid-palate, it expresses concentrated fruit and spice flavors (red cherry, black cherry, cassis, black plum, black pepper) and have a fairly long finish. A very young wine, to keep for several years before opening.
