The nose is elegant and offers a nice definition, a certain concentration and finesse as well as some airiness in its richness. There are notes of bright/fresh blackcurrant, bright red berries and more lightly strawberry combined with touches of bright Bigarreau cherry, violet as well as fine caramelisation and a subtle hint of sense of place (local biotop). The palate is nicely conducted, elegant, all in delicacy / minerality and reveals greediness, juiciness, precision, some airiness as well as a nice finesse in its richness. On the palate this wine expresses fleshy/pulpy cherry, strawberry and slightly blackcurrant notes combined with a touch of fresh/pulpy plum as well as fine tips of lily, lilac, fine notes of toastiness, vanilla and discreet tips of sweet spices. The tannins are fine and elegant.
