The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers deepness. It reveals notes of pulpy strawberry, brilliant cassis and small notes of pulpy plum, small roasted-elegant red fruits, as well as fine hints of tobacco, smoke, a hint of toastiness and sweet spices. The palate is beautifully juicy, pulpy, silky and tangy and offers a lovely brilliance and brightness of fruit. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, brilliant cherry and small notes of brilliant redcurrant, associated with touches of tobacco, star anise, smoke, cocoa, a hint of herb aromatic, and a subtle hint of rich soil. Good length. A hint of cocoa and sap in the background. Good persistence.
