Clément & Florian Berthier Sancerre 2023 – Sancerre

The wine has a very pale lemon yellow color, with slight green highlights. The nose is precise, tangy, but delicate, with distinct notes of fresh citrus (lemon, lemon zest), tangy green apple, as well as white flowers (acacia, hawthorn), cut grass in the background, tangy apricot and a hint of minerality. The palate is savory, a little more open than the nose. The attack is fruity and lively, with notes of ripe lemon, lime, green apple and a hint of tangy apricot. It also expresses herbaceous and floral touches (fresh herbs in the background, acacia, hawthorn) and a chalky minerality. The finish is chiseled, salivating, with sharp acidity and good persistence on the palate.
