Claude Lafond – L’Essentiel – Sauvignon 2015 – Reuilly

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a slight richness. It reveals notes of Williams pear, lemon and passion fruits combined with hints of flowers as well as slight touches of vanilla and crushed peach. The mouth is mineral, juicy, racy, elegant, round and offers tension, fat, a good straightness as well as a slight acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, crushed brugnon, passion fruits and slight notes of vanilla associated with small touches of flowers, zests as well as a very discreet hint of yuzu. Good length and good persistence.
