The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose offers tension, very fine toasted and spicy hints (toasted hazelnut, nutmeg, even a touch of saffron and smoke). It also expresses tangy notes of citrus (lemon, lime zest, grapefruit), green apple, a touch of flint, hay and white flowers. The palate offers an expressive and savoury attack, we first find notes of ripe citrus (lemon) and candied citrus (candied lemon, candied grapefruit), associated with the delicacy of passion fruit, the liveliness of lime and green apple, as well as a delicate spicy touch (nutmeg), toasted and smoky hazelnut. The finish expresses limestone and flint notes, associated with flavors of crushed citrus and fragrant white flowers. The acidity is lively and salivating, but delicious, in balance with the roundness and freshness of the wine’s texture. The finish is tangy, persistent, with the acidity of yellow lemon.
