The nose is spicy and offers a fine grain as well as tension. It reveals notes of blackberry, Cuben pepper and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of violet as well as hints of small red berries/ripe cherry as well as a discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, fat, precision as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/juicy violet plum and small notes of fleshy red cherry as well as hints of crushed raspberry and very fine hitns of liquorice, toasted and chocolate. Good length. An imperceptible hint of tonka bean/coffee on the persistence.
