The nose is aromatic and offers a fine gourmandise as well as a slight richness. It reveals notes of ripe raspberry, cherry and slight hints of blueberry associated with hints of chocolate, woody hints, a discreet hint of vanilla as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper and caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a slight acid frame, fat, freshness, suavity as well as a slight gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, ripe raspberry and slight notes of strawberry associated with a hint of caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of chocolate and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
