The nose is fruity, racy, slightly powerful and offers a slight richness. It reveals notes of fleshy/crushed raspberry, redcurrant jam and small touches of blueberry associated with a hint of plum as well as a subtle hint of caramelization, gray pepper, licorice and racy minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a beautiful tension as well as precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, crushed ripe redcurrant and touches of cassis, cherry associated with slight hints of licorice, undergrowth, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of mushroom (in the background) and a subtle hint of tonka bean on the persistence. Tannins are well-built. There is an imperceptible hint of salinity on the finish/aftertaste.
