It reveals notes of cassis jam, blackberry and slight notes of strawberry, violet associated with fine notes of sour cherry, blueberry, chocolate as well as fine spicy notes and a discreet touch of black tea in the background. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, fine, aerial, relatively fleshy, slightly powerful, well balanced and offers a beautiful silky matter and a small fresh frame in the background. Beautiful delicacy and elegance. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of cassis jam, cherry and slight notes of sour cherry associated with fine notes of blueberry, a hint of plum as well as slight woody notes, spices, a fine note of coffee, dark chocolate and almond on the finish. Good length and persistence. The aftertaste is a bit powerful and offers a small alcoholic note.
