The nose is fruity and offers concentration, a certain aromatic deepness as well as a small power and aromatic intensity. It reveals notes of fig, crushed cassis and small notes of dried blackberry associated with touches of concentrated small red fruits as well as hints of pulpy cherry and a discreet hint of spices. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers a tangy frame, tension, deepness as well as a slightly jammy side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of jammy cherry, fig and small notes of jellied blackberry associated with touches of crushed cassis, fine tangy hints as well as a subtle sappy and floral hint. Good length. A subtle hint of nutmeg in the background. A smoky side, even discreetly peaty in the background.
