The nose is fruity, racy and offers a very fine intensity as well as a very fine tension. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of black plum associated with small touches of black pepper, lily as well as fine hints of racy minerality, sweet tobacco and an imperceptible almost vanilla hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a good definition, juiciness as well as a very fine tension. In the mouth, this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy red cherry, fleshy / juicy blackberry and small notes of cornflowers associated with small touches of juicy strawberry, juicy / crunchy blueberries, a subtle hint of lily as well as very fine hints of tobacco (in the background), liquorice, chocolate and a very discreet hint of varietal bitterness on the finish / persistence. Tannins are well-built. Very discreet toasted hint/ toasted almonds and cocoa on the finish / persistence.
