The wine is clear and shiny. It has a medium deep ruby color. The first nose is powerful with notes of hazelnut but also of undergrowth, mushroom. We have a few fruits, dried, like cranberries and Morello cherries. It’s very potpourri. The second nose still reveals this tertiary aromas. There are some notes of wood and blond tobacco. The attack is fresh and tangy. The tannins are catchy but quickly disappear in favor of a bitterness that lifts the whole. We find fruits such as strawberries, cranberries but also blackberries. Always pot pourri, the rose accompanies woody, vanilla notes with freshness. The finish is tangy on plum and blond tobacco.
