Chevalier des Anges 2022 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Chevalier des Anges 2022 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose reveals a fine power/intensity, with a spicy and finely peppery side. There are notes of quite ripe wild raspberry, crushed blackberry and small notes of pepper associated with fine touches of cinnamon, smoke and spices (cardamom…). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, with a little fat and a nice acidity/tanginess. The mouth expresses notes of juicy/tangy blackcurrant, raspberry and small notes of bright red plum associated with a touch of cinnamon, cardamom as well as a hint of smoke and a subtle almost toasted note. Good length. A slight sappy touch on the persistance.
