The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers density and fresh fruity substance. It expresses notes of red cherry, morello cherry, red plum, strawberry, crushed raspberry and blueberry, associated with a delicate herbaceous hints (mint, sweet tobacco, pine needles in the background) and floral bouquet (violet, cornflower) , as well as notes of torrefaction (toasted hazelnut, fresh oak), sweet spices (liquorice, vanilla, nutmeg) and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is straight, silky and concentrated, but seems slightly closed. It expresses notes of morello cherry, red chocolate cherry, strawberry, black plum, red plum and blackcurrant in the background, combined with spicy flavors (liquorice, clove neck, a hint of vanilla in the background), herbaceous notes (dried mint, fresh tobacco), floral bouquet (violet, dried cornflower) and hints of torrefaction (toasted hazelnut, toasted wood in the background). The finish is fruity, enveloping and juicy, with gourmandise, freshness, a fine touch of chocolate and a good bitterness. Good persistence and refreshing acidity.
