The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a juicy/flint acidulous frame, juiciness, suavity as well as fat, a good structure, freshness and a good racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of fresh/bright blueberry, bright strawberry, hints of graphite, camphor, tobacco, tonka bean, cardamom and a subtle hint of nutmeg/sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. A subtle hint of good bitterness and salinity on the finish. A subtle hint of cocoa and grilled on the persistence/aftertaste. Good length.
