The nose is fruity, finely tight and offers concentration, a certain power and a small freshness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of juicy/ripe cassis, small blue berries, small notes of grey pepper associated with small touches of violet, camphor as well as small hints of green cardamom, spices and an imperceptible hint of cypress. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, mineral and offers tension, silkiness, dynamism as well as an acidulous frame, a good definition and a certain roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of wild strawberry, cornflower, lilac as well as hints of nutmeg, sweet spices, tobacco and an imperceptible hint of underwood/pepper. Good length. Tannins are well-built and elegant. A very discreet firmness on the finish.
